If you have any issues after your installation, such as a leaky roof or damaged equipment, contact Project Solar. We will help you make a claim, coordinate with your installer, and/or schedule a repair.
Warranties with Project Solar
Project Solar includes warranties with every system purchased through us. Depending on the service model, your warranty coverage may vary, like if you install DIY (DIY installs include an equipment warranty, but not a workmanship warranty).
Regardless of your coverage, it's important to contact Project Solar first. We'll help you through the next steps.
How to Start Your Claim
We can assist you with your claim anytime between 8:00am - 5:00pm MST. For our phone number, email address, and more contact options, check out our contact page.
After getting in touch, let customer service know that you want to make a warranty claim and schedule a repair. They may connect you with another department, such as our Post-PTO/Maintenance Team.
Once your claim is complete, we will communicate with your installer and update you when we schedule your repair. Working with the installer to identify the issue and schedule repairs can take some time, but we will diligently work to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
A Reinforced Warranty: SolarCare™ by Project Solar
The install process with Project Solar's Partnered Installers rarely causes any damages to roofs or equipment while installing. However, if something does happen, our premium SolarCare™ warranty is included with Full Service Install projects free of charge.
Under SolarCare™, your project's workmanship is guaranteed for 10 years with the installer. Project Solar works as an advocate for you to ensure your installer gets repairs done as efficiently as possible.
If your installer moves or goes out of business, we'll find you a replacement at our own expense.
We have trained our teams to deal with repairs in a timely manner, and we'll work hard to ensure everything goes smoothly.
